Новая бета-версия браузера Opera Unite.
Opera Unite - новая технология от компании Opera Software ASA, позволяющая сделать из любого компьютера, подключённого к интернету, сервер, при условии использования браузера Opera. С помощью Opera Unite можно, например, слушать музыку и видео в потоковом режиме, делиться фотографиями и другими файлами прямо со своего компьютера, посредством предоставления доступа к определённой папке (и подпапкам) в файловой системе компьютера (это освобождает от использования файлообменников). Причём подключиться к серверу пользователя Opera Unite можно с любого браузера, поддерживающего современные веб-стандарты. При создании сервисов используются технологии HTML, CSS, javascript, SVG и AJAX, так же при создании сервисов можно использовать Markuper API. Markuper API это библиотека шаблонов, которые позволяют связать javascript и HTML, чтобы облегчить процесс создание сервисов.

По умолчанию в боковой панели браузера расположены ссылки на 7 сервисов (по данным на 21 августа 2009 года):
«File Sharing» — предоставление доступа к файлам на компьютере,
«Fridge» — обмен короткими сообщениями путём прикрепления к виртуальному холодильнику стикеров,
«Media Player» — доступ к музыке на компьютере, возможность прослушивания музыки в потоковом режиме,
«Photo Sharing» — создание фотоальбома,
«The Lounge» — многопользовательский чат,
«Web Server» — запуск полноценного веб-сайта на компьютере,
«Opera Messenger» — общение один на один со своими друзьями по My Opera Community.
